Sunday will bring warm but seasonably pleasant weather with highs in the mid to upper 80s and less breezy conditions. Sunday night will be mostly clear and calm, with patchy fog possible inland late.

Moving into Monday, we can expect a mostly sunny start with thickening clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will remain seasonable with a chance of a stray shower inland late in the day. The rest of the week will see slightly cooler temperatures, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s and lows in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

In addition to the local forecast, we are also keeping an eye on the tropics with a small development near the Lesser and Greater Antilles. While there is a 0% chance of formation over the next two days, there is a 40% chance over the next 7 days. We will continue to track this system to keep you informed of any potential severe weather threats.

On the marine side, seas will be 2-4 feet with water temperatures in the low 80s. Winds will be from the northeast at 10-15 knots, creating a moderate chop on Sunday. Low tide is at 7:35am and high tide is at 1:53pm.

Overall, the week ahead looks to start off mostly sunny with a chance of a stray shower, before transitioning to partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of pop-up showers. By mid-week, we can expect mostly cloudy conditions with scattered thundershowers, especially along the sea-breeze.

As we head towards the end of the week, temperatures will remain warm with increasing humidity, making it feel more like early August. Be sure to stay updated on the latest forecast and weather information through News 12, wcti12.com, the StormTrack 12 weather app, and our social media pages.
