MIPS Showcases Embedded and Edge AI Innovations at COMPUTEX 2024

Are you ready for the latest innovations in embedded and edge AI technology? MIPS is set to showcase their cutting-edge solutions at COMPUTEX 2024 in Taipei, and you won’t want to miss it.

MIPS’ architecture allows for a tailored solution with seamless integration of the CPU into the overall System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture. This enables efficient handling of data movement and memory to address the demands of AI applications. At the event, MIPS will be highlighting their real-time system deployments and showcasing their multi-threading and RISC-V capabilities.

One of the key demonstrations at MIPS’ booth will be the multi-threading application demo featuring the MIPS P8700 Series multiprocessor. This will showcase the power and efficiency of MIPS’ multithreading capabilities in an embedded application setting. Additionally, there will be a Synopsys simulation demonstration, providing a software model of the multithreaded MIPS P8700 Series CPU running on Synopsys’ Virtualizer simulation environment.

Durgesh Srivastava, CTO of MIPS, expressed his excitement for the event, stating, “We are developing RISC-V tools that give edge AI Embedded customers the freedom to innovate compute.” MIPS is dedicated to providing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the accelerated computing markets.
